Watching Salmon swim upstream in Sitka, AK is way more intense than I would’ve expected. The amount of work these guys put in is absolutely incredible and kills a very high percentage of them.
This is literally the first thing I did in Canada. Got into our hotel so late last night, it may well have been anywhere, woke up and walked out the back door of the hotel to THIS. Shuswap lake, the big mama up there is an Osprey with her man circling around, probably trying to threaten me. The little babies are Canadian Geese. Enjoy this little moment.
Just paying my respects. #poundit
Excited to be heading out to Phoenix again. We opened for the Black Keys there years ago, and have had an amazing fan base there ever since. The desert is gorgeous, the color palette, the stronghold of stubborn life. Jessup trucks drive produce right through it, we drive ourselves to the heart of it. Vegas tonight, to hang with Big Daddy in the air conditioned Backstage Bar. It’ll be 100 degrees when we head outside for a breath of hot air at 1:30 in the morning. We won’t be able to breathe. What drove people to build towns in the desert? A small oasis drunk dry by travelers? But the bar was built, followed by the post office. So there was no reason to leave.
